In Persian culture, woman means fertile and life-giving. she is the source of life and undoubtedly the foundation of a family depends on the presenceof a woman.
Woman is a creature adorned with many secrets and wonders, and thanks to these wonders, the life of the human beings is in continuity. Women have a subtle
elegance and a great sense of beauty that makes them stand out from men.
Iranian women have always been valued and respected in different historical periods, while since a long time they had a changing position in the world. Iranian women have worked hard for the advancement of civilizations and cultures.
The role of women in Iranian culture has had many ups and downs in various historical periods. In line with the change of governments and religions, the
presence of women in society has also undergone many changes. This change has manifested itself both in presence and the social behaviors and character of
women in society.
In the history of this land, there have been women who have done great work in a relatively patriarchal society. Purandakht Sasani, as an example, is the woman who after Ardeshir Shirviyeh, was crowned king in Ctesiphon and ruled over Iran.
The Iranian woman is the manifestation of beauty, power and kindness. Three authntic and sacred words that are represented in every single Iranian woman.

Imam Sadegh says «It is not proper for a woman to leave herself without an ornament, even though it is an ordinary necklace, and it is not proper and desirable for

According to the existing litrature, the Zoroastrian religion in pre-Islamic Iran was a good provider for
empowering women. In the religion of Zarathustra and in the book of Avesta, women had a high value, dignity and respect. Women have been the beacons of fire and
the main pillar of the family.
At a time when women in the mythology of other nations were considered as inferior and low creatures and were treated like a merchandise, in ancient Iran, women were the symbol of power and dignity. An Iranian woman is a woman who, according to the Zoroastrian decrees, had the power to rule, to own land, to represent and testify in court.
An Iranian woman can contribute to the management of a family, a city and a country by relying on her innate power. Many of the responsibilities that Iranian women
have, and which we often overlook, have a high value.
There are many feminine duties in Iranian society that are at the height of their greatness in terms of importance and fruitfulness, however due to their difficulty men are reluctant to accept them.
For example, the serious task of motherhood, which is the greatest pillar of any society and any civilized family is amongst these duties.
Iranian women have had a place and value throughout history, so much so that in the Zoroastrian Bible (Avesta) no man was considered
morally and religiously superior to women.
The characteristics of a good, pious and chaste woman have been the main slogans of Zoroastrians. Women had such a value and personality in ancient Iran that they even had their say among religions and were considered great and praiseworthy. On the fifth day of Espandarmad (the last month
of the year), the people of Iran used to hold a celebration and call it Eid-e-Zan (meaning Woman’s feast ). On this day, it was customary for men to give
valuable gifts to their wives. As in Zoroastrianism, one day of the year is named Women’s Day. This ceremony was also called the “MozdGiran” in
ancient Iran.
Iranian Woman, A Character of Kindness According to her divine nature, woman is the eternal source of infinite kindness. The Iranian woman, meanwhile, is the culmination of kindness and affection since the affection of an Iranian mother cannot be found in any culture
and society.
An Iranian woman learns to be patient and to share affection just because she has been a woman since childhood.
She also learns how to look and spread a nonverbal kindness, she learns how to explore, both the environment and people.
